sectarianism
Excessive devotion to a particular religious denomination
sabbath
- Meant to be a day of rest
- Reflecting God’s rest day after the creation
- Day of worshipping together at church
- Usually Sunday but some Protestant groups follow the Jewish tradition and hold it on Saturday
prayer
- Develop a closer relationship with God
- Connects the heart, the mind and will to God in words
- The primary prayer in christianity is the ‘Lord’s Prayer’, or ‘Our Father’

- Man can do nothing to contribute to his salvation
