What are the requirements of a releasable animal?
A
Must be able to swim, fly, or run well enough to preform the tasks of the species (escape from predators, find food, migrate).
Must behave normally and have fear of humans.

A
Adults: 1km
Juveniles: 15km

Why can’t you release an animal in a different location from its original point of capture?
A
They have established territories and ranges, and learned the local resources for survival.
You need to ensure you aren’t spreading diseases and not surpassing the carrying capacity in that given area.
