- Biomedical is an individual focus where as social is a population focus
- Biomedical model has a more passive approach I like the social model, which has a more active approach
- Biomedical model looks to cure the disease where as the social model looks to prevent it
- The biomedical is a ‘Band-Aid’ or quick fix approach where as the social model is a long-term approach
- The biomedical model is more expensive due to use of technology and resources however the social model is more cost-effective.
