Predator
A predator is an animal that eats another organism for food, and energy.
Prey
Prey is an organism that gets eaten by predators for their food and energy.
Tertiary
A tertiary consumer is a level 3 consumer, and the top predator.
10% rule
When a rabbit gets eaten by a fox, only 10% of that energy gets transferred, and the other 90% leaves the body.
Energy pyramid
The energy pyramid goes like this… (read from bottom to top)

Symbiosis
A relationship in which two different organisms live in close association with each other.
Mutualism
Both species benefit; sometimes depends on each other to survive.
Parasitism
Once species benefits from the other species which is harmed.
Commensalism
One organism benefits and the other is unaffected.
