Q

Obtain BUILDING PERMIT

A

Can only be obtained after ALL agencies signed off on the project

  1. Owner can obtain
  2. The general contractor can obtain and will need to show General Contractor’s license and proof of workers compensation insurance
  3. Architect does not typically obtain the Building permit. Architects get drawings “ Permit Ready” or “Ready to Issue” when all the plan check corrections have been addressed and approvals obtained. We usually hand the drawings to the Owner or Contractor to “ pull the Building Permit”.
