synopsis:
The Architect’s programming services are set forth a series of iterative steps, from a broad identification of priorities, values and goals of the programming participants to working with the owner to confirm the Owner’s objectives for the project. The programming services also include information gathering to develop performance and design criteria, and developing a final program of project requirements.

A

Architect shall be responsible for:

  1. Administration of Programming Services
    - - manage and administer Programming services
    - - confirm scope and intent of Project with Owner
    - - submit programming documents to Owner for evaluation and approval
  2. Identification of Programming Participants
    - - identify the persons to participate in the programming process
  3. Identification and prioritization of Owner, and User Values, Goals and Objectives
  4. Information Gathering
    - - compile and review existing Project-related documentation
    - - conduct interviews of Owner-designated individuals

  5. Data Analysis

SFAS - Site Evaluation and Planning
Synopsis:
It is intended for use where the Architect provides the Owner with services to assist in site selection for a project. Under this scope, the Architect’s services may include analysis of the Owner’s program and alternative sites, and utilization studies, and other analysis such as planning and zoning requirements, site context, historic resources, utilities, environmental impact, and parking and circulation.
