- despite poverty, low suicide rates = suggests everyone supports each other, strong community

- lack of youth involvement e.g. clubs
- 1 in 4 houses over crowded

- sustainable = pylons underground, contaminated soil cleaned up, water flow into Thames
- Better skills “Construction College” - learn to use digger, get job
- get compensation - £8500 and new furniture

- wine industry - driven by immigrants (good place for them)

- isolated - only county w no motorway

The Eden Project - unemployment dropped by 6% - in summer - 3000 visitors a day - in 2015 peaked - 7000 "victim of own success" bc queues but shows popular - everything locally sources - £762,000 a year - 420 perm jobs

- started “get money off in walk/cycle/bus” - people just left cars outside on verges/roads/drives - ruined it
