Q

How is ENGAGEMENT measured

A

ELECTION TURNOUT:
- local election: local mp to represent your constituency
- general election: vote for a political party to employ a new prime minister
- referendum: vote for/against on questions the gov. cant decide upon w/o public opinion

MORE ENGAGEMENT = MORE INVESTMENT FROM POLITICIANS

PEOPLE WHO DO NOT VOTE PRODUCE VOTER APATHY — Gov. can do what they want w/o reaction — corruption
