what is the cranial nerve reflex
jaw reflex
what are the three upper extremity reflexes
biceps, brachioradials, triceps
what are the lower extremity reflexes
patella, hamstring(semitendinosis) achilles
what are the 6 grades to a reflex grading scale
0 = absent 1+ = hyporeflexia 2+ = normal 3+ = hyperreflexia 4+ = hyperreflexia/transient clonus 5+ = hyperreflexia/sustained clonus
what are some causes of hyporeflexia
technique error, LMNL, peripheral neuropathy, radiculopathy
what are some causes of hyperreflexia
UMNL- 2* to brain, brainstem or SC lesion or compression.
