Reflective learning is a method of self-analysis, and planning for improvement.
4 things there are to reflect on
What they are learning and how they are learning.
What their strengths and weaknesses are.
How they can improve.
The skills they need to develop.
4 stages of reflective learning

- Planning for future improvement

When is reflective learning meaningful
Reflective learning is only meaningful when the athlete can use it to make change.

- Individuals need to be aware and implement the latest advancements in their sport
Stage 4 action
Having identified weaknesses, the athlete sets short-term goals to address the areas that need attention. Achieving these goals will motivate the athlete, improve performance and ultimately assist in achieving long-term goals.
