Q

What are the steps to writing and balancing REDOX equations?

A
  1. Check that the main element is balanced
  2. Add water to balance the oxygen atom
  3. Add H+ ions to balance any hydrogen atoms
  4. Add electrons to the same side as the H+ so both sides have the same overall charge
