If fire present or departing prepared surface: CARRY OUT EMERGENCY ENGINE SHUTDOWN

EJECT OR CARRY OUT A FORCED LANDING
Time and conditions permitting:
ATTEMPT AIRSTART
IMMEDIATE AIRSTART (PMU NORM)
PCL OFF
STARTER SWITCH AUTO/RESET
PCL IDLE, ABOVE 13% N1
Engine Instruments Monitor
• If Airstart is unsuccessful
PCL OFF
EJECT OR CARRY OUT A FORCED LANDING
• If Airstart is successful
PCL as Req’d after N1 reaches IDLE RPM
STARTER Switch NORM
GEN Switch Verify ON; reset as Req’d
PEL EXECUTE
UNCOMMANDED POWER CHANGE / LOSS OF POWER / UNCOMMANDED PROPELLER FEATHER
PCL MID RANGE
PMU OFF
PROP SYS C/B PULL (if Np below 40%)
PCL AS REQUIRED

• If power available is not sufficient to complete PEL:

SMOKE OR FUME IN THE COCKPIT / ELECTRICAL FIRE
OBOGS MAX (Both)
OBOGS pressure lever-EMERGENCY (Both)
DESCEND BELOW 10,000 ft MSL INITIATE (as required)
PRESSURIZATION switch RAM/DUMP
BLEED AIR INFLOW switch OFF
• If smoke severe:
FRACTURE CANOPY
• If smoke/fire persists:
BAT, GEN, AUX BAT switches OFF
• If smoke/fire ceases:
Essential electrics RESTORE AS REQ’D
LAND AS SOON AS POSSIBLE OR EJECT
RUNAWAY TRIM
TRIM INTERRUPT button DEPRESS&HOLD
Airspeed AS REQUIRED
TO REDUCE CONTROL FORCES
TRIM DISCONNECT switch DISCONNECT
TRIM INTERRUPT button RELEASE
AIL/ELEV TRIM or RUD TRIM C/B’s PULL (as required)
TRIM DISCONNECT switch NORM
Controllability Check as Req’d
LAND AS SOON AS PRACTICAL
RAPID DECOMPRESSION / CKPT ALT ANNUNCIATOR
OBOGS MAX (Both)
OBOGS pressure lever-EMERGENCY (Both)
DESCEND BELOW 25,000 feet MSL
BLEED AIR INFLOW switch HIGH
INFLOW SYS C/B CHECK (reset if popped)
LAND AS SOON AS PRACTICAL
If cockpit altitude exceeded 25,000 feet MSL:
LAND AS SOON AS POSSIBLE
HYPOXIA / HYPERVENTILATION
Emergency oxygen handle PULL
above 10,000 feet MSL (Both)
M.O.S.H. DISCONNECT(Both)
OBOGS OFF (Both)
BREATHE NORMALLY
DESCEND IMMEDIATELY-below 10,000 feet
cockpit altitude
