Mild to moderate bacterial conjunctiviits (no contacts)
Mild red appointment polytrim
Gonococcal Bacterial Conjunctivitis
Ophthalmologic emergency
treat with red or back (bactricin)

Chlamydial Bacterial Conjunctivitis
Causes trachoma
Entropion, trichiasis, and central corneal scarring
Z pack 1 G PO x 1 dose
MC infectious cause of blindness
Trichiasis is when eyelashes grow the wrong way
Entropion is your eyelid turning inwards

Uveitis infectious causes
Herpes, Toxoplasmosis, TB, syphillis (salt and pepper)
Bacterial Keratitis
Pseudomonas, Moazella, staph, strep
Viral Keratitis
HSV 1
Fungal Keratits
fusarium, candida, aspergills
Dacryodentitis/Dacryocysitis
Viral - mumps, can be bacterial
Acute- S. aureus, strep, pneumonia
Chronic - S. epidermidis, gram - bacteria

- if glandular dysfunction, rosacea, psoriasis, eczema

if hx of animal bite: s. aureus, or GABHS
