Presentation of anterior uveitis? (5)
Painful red eye, acute onset, photophobia, Blurred vision, Fixed oval pupil
Treatment of anterior uveitis?
Treat underlying cause,
Corticosteroids and cycloplegics
Causes of scleritis? (2)
Rheumatoid arthritis,
Sjogrens syndrome
Types of scleritis? (4)
Diffuse,
Nodular,
Necrotising,
Scleromalacia perforans
Presentation of scleritis? (3)
Painful red eye,
Pain worse on movement,
Diminished visual acuity
Treatment of scleritis?
Treat underlying cause,
NSAIDs,
Corticosteroids

Bleed under the conjunctiva
Causes of subconjunctival haemorrhage? (h: ABCDE)
Acute, increased Blood pressure, Coughing, Disorder of coagulation, Eye trauma
Causes of corneal abrasion? (3)
Foreign body,
Contact lenses,
Tear insufficiency
Presentation of corneal abrasion? (4)
Pain,
Photophobia,
Increased lacrimation,
Sensation of foreign body
