Painful red eye,
Mild-severe discharge,
Reduced vision,
swollen eyelids

A
Discharge culture, Slit lamp (white spot)

Characteristics of corneal dystrophy and degeneration?
A
Bilateral,
Opacifying,
Non-inflammatory conditions,
Usually genetic, could be due to accumulation of lipids within the cornea

Presentation of corneal dystrophy and degeneration?
A
Decreased vision, Change in cornea appearance, Eye pain, Glare, Foggy or blurred vision, coloured halos around lights, Foreign body sensation
