Cockpit Door……test

Ann light……test

• check that the OPEN and FAULT lights, and the five LED lights come on with the cockpit door
• check that the top and bottom legends are lit on both AFT AVNCS RACK switches

ANN LT……bright/dim

Cockpit Door….check correct operation

• Set the toggle switch to unlock position. Check that the door opens by pulling it without turning the handle, and the OPEN light comes on
• Then, with the door fully opened, release the toggle switch, close the door. Check that it is locked, and that the open indication goes off.
• check that the door operates normally by using the handle

Emergency equipment

-check the logbook in accordance with the FOM

• Manuals, verify the following manuals are on board
• Oxygen Mask……stowed
• Ropes…..escape ropes stowed
• Extinguisher……portable extinguisher stowed and pressure green
• Flashlights…….stowed and charged
• Life Vests….stowed
• Axe……..stowed
• Pbe…….stowed and serviceable
• Evas……intact and velcrowed

Question 2

AFT AVNCS RACK……TEST

Rack power button…. Push
Verify the off light illuminates and CA/FO monitors go off

PRESS TO TEST button……..push and hold
Smoke and cutout buttons illuminate, horn sounds

SMOKE DET HORN button……release
PRESS TO TEST button…….release
Verify all annunciators turn off

AFT AVNCS RACK PWR button….press
Verify OFF extinguishes and pilot monitors come back on

Question 3

ADIRS……ALIGN

Answer 3

Full align 
-IR rotary off for 5 sec
-IR mode on one at a time
-check that the IN BAT extinguishes for each Sys after 5 sec
Check that ALIGN lights are ON

APU FIRE……TEST

AGENT LIGHT....out
APU FIRE TEST pb.....press
  -APU FIRE warn on ECAM + CRC + Master Warn lights
  -APU FIRE pb is red

  • ENG 1(2) FIRE warn on ECAM+CRC+MASTER WARN light
• ENG FIRE (engine panel) ON

OXYGEN MASK……TEST

Loudspeakers….on
Int reception knob….press out and adjust
INT/RAD switch……INT

RESET/TEST button…..press and hold
-check that blinker turns yellow then goes black

EMERGENCY PRESS SELECTOR…press

• check that blinker turns yellow and stays yellow as long as emergency selector is pressed
• listen for flow through speaker

RESET/TEST button…..release
-make sure 100% is selected down

EMERGENCY PRESS SELECTOR….Press
-make sure it does not turn yellow

REGUL LO PR message….CHECK OFF
this ensures the LP valve is open
