What is creeping determinism?

People remember their views on things very differently to what their views were actually like.
E.g. lots of experts after 9/11 said how glaringly obvious an attack was, but no one before said that.

A
In recruiting, when people hire others who look and think like themselves. It is validating to be surrounded by people who look and think like themselves.
