And to achieve profound altered stated of consciousness through this
What is insight training in Buddhism?

What is the true nature of things? 3 aspects useful to chant in meditation
Nothing lasts
Nothing satisfies
Nothing is me
What is the actual nature of experiential reality?
Absolute transience. Nothing lasts. It’s just vibrating stuff.
There is no permanent self and not even a watcher of the mind
How should you meditate?
1 - concentration - Focus intently on the breath or a phrase
2 - insight - note the awareness of your transient nature (rising, falling, thinking, singing, vibrating)
What did the Buddha say about fear?
‘Nothing can harm a man so much as his own thoughts untamed’
