Tzietze syndrome
A
- Uncommon reason for pediatric chest pain involving one rib in 70-80%
- Inflammatory process with swelling, warmth, and tenderness of the 2nd or 3rd costochondral junctions (most often the second rib)
- Swelling is often spindle shaped
- Can be associated with URI and exacerbated with cough and deep inspiration

Most common joint affected by spondylosis
A
Stress reaction or fraction of pars interarticularis in the lumbar spine resulting from repetitive hyperextension
L5 is affected 85-95% of the time, L4 5-15 percent

Spondylolisthesis
A
This is the result of the progression of spondylolysis when chronic non union of bilateral pars defects cause forward translation or slippage of one vertebra on the next
- Most common at L5 to S1

Goldbloom syndrome
A
- New periosteal bone formation
- Fever
- severe joint pain
- NSAIDS can help but spontaneous recovery
- Labs : increased esr, IGs and dysproteinemia
