One point injection
injection and drainage from one location
Right atrium of the heart
- center for venous drainage in a dead human body
- direct drainage from here is recommended for infectious cases to eliminate contact with blood and bodily fluids
Sectional embalming
- also called vascular
- embalming of a body area or region by the injection of an embalming solution into an artery that in life supplied blood to that particular body region
Six point injection
- multipoint injection in teh autopsied or unautopsied body in which six areas of the body are separately injected
- L and R common carotid, femoral, and axillary
Split injection
injection from one site and drainage from a separate site
Strap line incision
