5 – Is the annual revalidation mandatory for an instructor? What happens if the revalidation is not obtained?
Yes, it is mandatory. 7 – Is it mandatory for an instructor of SwáSthya Yôga to have a supervisor? Is it obligatory to pay a Supervisor?
A Supervisor is essential to an instructor. The supervised instructor is not forced to pay the
supervisor. If he or she chooses to keep up monthly supervision payments, at least over twelve consecutive months, he will benefit from bigger discounts, have priority in booking courses and events, gain the right to freely attend regular sessions offered by the Supervisor and will have priority to consult or meet with the Supervisor. Also, the Federations request an instructor to have a
Supervisor in order to gain the right to revalidate his or her certificate.
8 – Is it mandatory to join the União Nacional de Yôga (National Union of Yôga)?
It is not mandatory, however we will wonder about the reasons for not joining and not wanting to be affiliated despite the countless advantages it offers.
9 – What are the advantages of joining the União Nacional de Yôga?
Cultural exchange, making friends, discounts in educational material, as well as courses and events, consultancy, marketing resources, up-to-date information, etc.
10 – What is the difference between supervision and affiliation?
Supervision is voluntary, although it is indispensable if the instructor wishes to teach. It consists of a contract between two parts (the Supervisor and the Supervised) in which the latter pays a monthly fee to the former, on the amount equivalent to the monthly payment of one of the students of the
Supervised. This fee automatically awards the instructor with discounts in courses.
The affiliation is optional and consists of an association between two juridical parties (União Nacional de Yôga and the affiliated entity), which is not paid, since the affiliated will receive in educational material the amount he or she contributed with, and it also grants discounts when acquiring products, events, etc.
