Characteristics of good quality information
Valid - trustyworthy or verified information
Unreliable - Sources which are consistent
Accurate - The information is correct or exacr
Comparable - Information can be likended to another
Relevant - Information that is fit for purpose and links to what you are looking for
Unbiased - Information cannot be unfairly prejudiced for or against something
Up to date - Information has to be up to date to be accurate
Characteristics of bad quality information
Invalid - untrustworthy or unverified information
Unreliable - Sources which are not consistent
Inaccurate - Information isn’t correct or exact
Uncomparable - Information cannot be likened to another
Irrelevant - Information that is fit for purpose and links to what you are looking for
Biased - Information is unfairly prejudiced for or against something
Out of date - Information is out of date so it is deemed inaccurate
