Graphics
Graphics refers to visual images to provide instructions or convey information or represent data. Examples are photographs or a diagram.
Braille text
Braille text is a form of writing that uses dots to convey information.
Tactile images
Tactile images are images converted into a format that appeals to the sense of touch by presenting attributes such as hardness, softness, hot and cold sensations. Used to provide more interaction from the user and an example of this is children’s books.
Boolean
Boolean is a data type denoted to represent one value or another. Used to input data faster by narrowing down option leading to fewer mistakes made by the user. Examples are questionnaires and applications.
Tables and spreadsheets
Tables and spreadsheets are forms of storing information too detailed to be written. They allow us to manipulate and analyse data in a structured and organised form quickly. Examples are to hold customer/client information and stock analysis.
Charts and graphs
Charts and graphs are forms of representing data. They are used to help us visualise data and spot trends and patterns within data. Examples are scatter graphs, pie charts and diagrams.
