What does costs have to do with importance of quality management
Quality management effects the costs. When business makes mistakes or makes bad products, the business has essentially wasted the resources and time of employees by making a product that is not fit for purpose of doesn’t mean satisfaction of customers. Poor quality costs the business money. Improve efficiency
Price
Quality effects prices a company are able to charge. If quality is bad in organisation, more resources are needed to reach level of output and satisfaction, this will raise price so company will have to command a higher selling price to be able to cover costs. Can damage competitiveness
Competitiveness
Helps business remain competitive. Better quality would satisfy customers. Bad quality would cause customers to go to competitors. Thus would damage sales volume and market share
