Quadrants and Regions Flashcards
When assessing a patient, you encounter a cancerous tumour behind the heart. Using directional terms and planes; explain where the tumour is located.
Located in the Left-upper quadrant, posterior to the heart, on the superior transverse plane.
When assessing a patient, you encounter a ruptured vessel in the patients eyeball. Using directional terms and planes; explain where the vessel is located.
The ruptured vessel is located in the anterior area of the eye, located on the coronal plane. Additionally, the vessel is near the surface, therefore being superficial.
