Engine start lever CONFIRM & CUT OFF
Engine fire switch CONFIRM & PULL
*if engine fire switch or ENG OVHT light illuminated, rotate to the stop and hold for 1 second.

Engine Surge or Stall

A/T DISENGAGE
Thrust lever affected engine CONFIRM & RETARD until indications are in limits.

Engine Overheat

Thrust lever affected engine CONFIRM & CLOSE
*If ENG OVHT light still on proceed with fire QRH actions.

Severe Engine Damage or Separation

Thrust lever affected engine CONFIRM & CLOSE
Engine start lever CONFIRM & CUT OFF
Engine fire switch CONFIRM & PULL
*if engine fire switch or ENG OVHT light illuminated, rotate to the stop and hold for 1 second.

Evacuation

C: Set Parking Brake
C: Speed brake lever DOWN
F: Flaps set to 40
F: Pressurisation mode selector MAN
F: Outflow valve OPEN
C: Engine start lever CUTOFF
C: Advise Cc to evacuate
F: Advise ATC
F: Engine and APU Fire switches PULL (Rotate and Hold for 1 second if fire warning illuminates)

TRIM to reduce forces on control column
*if runaway continues both STAB TRIM cut out switched CUT OUT

Don the oxygen mask set it to 100% and establish comms.
Go to the Rapid Decompression actions.
