*strongly tonifies source (yuan/prenatal) qi, generates fluids for wasting and thirsting, revives from collapse, tonifies sp/lu, calms spirit

  1. powerfully tonifies primal qi (5 organs)- for collapsed qi or abandonment of qi due to blood loss or fluid depletion. can be used alone for this purpose

A

*raises yang qi, tonifies SOP and Lu qi, stabilizes wei qi, discharges pus, generates flesh, promotes urination

  1. tonifies qi and xue, for fever due to PP/trauma/blood loss and recovery
  2. Tonifies sp and raises yang - sp qi xu, sp qi failing to contain xue, sinking and collapse, qi and xue xu, lu & sp qi xu (hemorrhoids, diarrhea, prolapse)
