Aft o/w exit inside upper door frame.
Which doors are the primary means of escape during ditching?
Doors 1 and over wing exits.
What life rafts are carried?
3 - 56 person air cruiser life rafts (2 mid cabin ceiling 1 fwd cabin ceiling).
1 - 25 person air cruiser life raft ( above row 3nleft side).
How long does the emergency lighting last for and where are the switches for it?
Last for 15mins. Illuminates all paths to exits and external illumination of exits areas.

Operating select flow rate High 4Lpm or Low 2Lpm, fit mask to nozzle, open valve fully then back 1/2 a turn, ensure flow with green indicator in mask tube. Fit mask. Leave 100psi in bottle.
Preflight check gauge in red band.

Laerdal Pocket Mask preflight location and operation

Operation:
A Laerdal Pocket Mask is a protective device to be used by Cabin Crew when
performing Rescue Breathing on a non breathing person.
Operation or Use
• Put on gloves.
• Place mask over nose and mouth.
• The Laerdal Pocket Mask is more effective when connected to high flow oxygen –
Rescue Breathing must not be delayed whilst waiting for the oxygen cylinder.

- located mid cabin right o/h, R2 and L1. Preflight present and sealed.

Location fwd right o/h stowage.
Preflight, present and sealed, check expiry date, check blue seal through zippers.
If not seal with yellow and advise csm
Heartstart Defibrillator (Semi Auto External Defib). Location preflight and operation.

• Present.
• Expiry card attached.
• Expiry date current (if expiry date exceeded record fault in Cabin/IFE Log).
• Flashing black hour glass present (Heartstart FR2).
• If a flashing red CROSS or solid red CROSS is present, crew should follow the instructions as detailed.
Operation;
1. Press GREEN button to turn on.
2. Follow voice and screen prompts.
3. Apply pads to bare chest.
4. Plug in pads connector next to flashing light.
5. Press shock button if instructed

Land: 1. erect antenna
2. Place beacon in attached bag 3. Fill bag with liquid other than clean water until holes are covered 4. Keep beacon vertical and on highest point.
Sea: 1. Attach beacon to life raft
2. Throw beacon in water

Land: 1. Turn elt dial on base to xmt (transmit)
2. Erect antennae 3. Put beacon at high point.
At sea: 1. Attach beacon to life raft
2. Rotate dial to arm 3. Throw in water.

What domthe letters S.K.I mean with regards to oven fire?
S= switch off electrical power if possible K= keep door closed I = implement basic fire drill.
What does the basic fire drill involve?
1st crew member = fire fighter
2nd crew member = communicator
3rd crew member = back up fire fighter (if reqd fitting PBE while 1st FF is fighting fire).
During and oven fire if flames persist what doe O.S.C.R stand for?
O= open oven door 2-5cms S= spray BCF Halon into oven C= close door for 30seconds R= recheck to ensure fire is out
