A

R2 bulkhead and L1,
Operating select flow rate High 4Lpm or Low 2Lpm, fit mask to nozzle, open valve fully then back 1/2 a turn, ensure flow with green indicator in mask tube. Fit mask. Leave 100psi in bottle.
Preflight check gauge in red band.

Operation:
A Laerdal Pocket Mask is a protective device to be used by Cabin Crew when
performing Rescue Breathing on a non breathing person.
Operation or Use
• Put on gloves.
• Place mask over nose and mouth.
• The Laerdal Pocket Mask is more effective when connected to high flow oxygen –
Rescue Breathing must not be delayed whilst waiting for the oxygen cylinder.

• Present.
• Expiry card attached.
• Expiry date current (if expiry date exceeded record fault in Cabin/IFE Log).
• Flashing black hour glass present (Heartstart FR2).
• If a flashing red CROSS or solid red CROSS is present, crew should follow the instructions as detailed.
Operation;
1. Press GREEN button to turn on.
2. Follow voice and screen prompts.
3. Apply pads to bare chest.
4. Plug in pads connector next to flashing light.
5. Press shock button if instructed
