- Ensure no more than necessary units involved
- Ensure ASU has been requested
- Make sure appropriate radio procedures followed
- Make sure dispatch notified surrounding jurisdictions
- Terminating when necessary

Supervisor responsibilities during pursuit
A
- Notify dispatch you’re accepting responsibilities of pursuit
- Continuously evaluate updated info if it should continue or terminate
- Controlling the pursuit (directing units in/out of pursuit, coordinating pursuit tactics, reassigning primary/secondary units, giving permission to pursue out of county)
- Approving support units to assist in pursuit
- Respond to end point
- Ensure blue team, reports/citations done

Interjurisdictional pursuit supervisor responsibilities
A
- Determine if neighboring jurisdiction should be asked to assume pursuit
- If agreed to take over have to get confirmation
- Once given to other agency they can monitor

Supervisor responsibilities for pursuits coming into Fayette Co
A
- Officers to not get involved unless told so by supervisor
- Clarify if they’re requesting assistance or not and supervisor will then determine level of involvement
- If situations arise where it would be a risk to the public request agency terminate

Post pursuit procedures for supervisor
A
- Ensure DC notified
- Ensure proper paperwork done
- Complete blue team and forward with related photos to chain of command
- Determine if drug/alcohol testing needed
- All BWC footage reviewed by a supervisor
- Compile chronological list of events
- Notify CRU if meets criteria
