What you see is the Left MLG, with the Gear Pin installed and the Downlock Release actuator and Downlock spring. The strut is locked in position by the Over-Center Lock and the Downlock Spring. The DLRA (Downlock Release Actuator) is pressurized by the hydraulic system when the gear is selected up and drives the downlock mechanism out of the over-center position which leaves the MLG free to retract.
