What is Public Policy?
The stance the government takes about a problem or an idea for improvement.
What is government action?
Government action is when the government provides money/services to solve problems.
What is government regulation?
Monitoring or controlling (making laws).
What are equity programs?
Meant to promote equality in the US to help ensure that certain populations are treated fairly.
What is an interest group?
A group of people with the same goals who organize to influence the government.
What is a PAC?
An organization formed to collect money and provide financial support for political candidates.
What is lobbying?
Direct contact made by a person in order to persuade government to support the policies their interest group favors.
What are General Welfare Programs?
Various programs to ensure that the basic needs of Americans are met.
