PRESENTATION
Symptoms/signs
A
- Persistent remembering or ‘reliving’ the stressor in flashbacks, vivid memories or recurring dreams
- In experiencing distress when exposed to circumstances resembling the stressor
- Avoidance of circumstances resembling stressor
- Inability to recall some important aspects or period of exposure to stressor
- Difficulty falling or staying asleep
- Irritability or outbursts of anger
- Difficulty concentrating
- Hypervigilence
