  • Usually occurs after dependence, no longer euphoric but now to avoid dependence symptoms
  • Withdrawal symptoms
    • Sweating
    • Dilated pupils
    • Tachycardia
    • Hypertension
    • Piloerection
    • Watering eyes and nose
    • Abdominal cramps
    • Nausea and vomiting
    • Tremor
    • Joint pains and muscle cramps
