Two core symptoms are depressed moods and diminished interest in activities.A person must experience at least 5 of the key symptoms for up to 2 weeks before a diagnosis

Cognitive symptoms?
- Distorted negative thoughts
- poor concentration
What is bipolar?
Where a person experiences depressed moods for weeks with the symptoms described but also have phases of delusions and mania
OCD definition?
An anxiety disorder where a person experiences persistent intrusive thoughts that they find unpleasant
Emotional&behavioural symptoms of ocd?
- feel guilt at thoughts
- intended anxiety/panic feelings
- avoidance of things that may trigger anxiety
- time spent on compulsions effects ability to maintain relationships
