What is Cognitive Behavioural Therapy particularly good at tackling

How does Cognitive Behavioural therapy work
The therapist helps the client identify thoughts, feelings and behaviours. They then assess whether they are unrealistic and unhelpful. The client then engages in “homework” which challenges the unrealistic or unhelpful thoughts through graded exposure and response prevention.
Behavioural Activation
This focusses on avoided activities. It looks at the unintended consequences of avoiding these activities and then considering a different way to do it. Setting activities to challenge these avoidances.
