The fact that our mind is not always rational because it is motivated by unconscious forces.

The fact that as children we have the desire to possess the opposite sex parent and eliminate the same-sex parent.
What is a defence mechanism? Give an example
Bottleing-up unacceptable feelings so they dont upset us. Such as repression
