Positive Symptoms

  • Typical Antipsychotics (D2 rec. antagonists)
    • High Potency = Haloperidol, Fluphenazine, “-azines”
    • Low Potency = Chlorpromazine, Thioridazone

Negative Symptoms (more effective, also Tx + symptoms)

  • Atypical Antipsychotics
    • Olanzapine, Clozapine, Quitiapine, Risperidone, Aripiprazole, Ziprasidone
