How does memory get reconstructed
A
Schemas: preconceptions about person, objects, or events that bias interpretation of info
Retelling: biased towards who you’re telling it to (telling over and over can shift and increase confidence in story)
Feedback: confirming vs disconfirming (confirming say ‘knew all along’ disconfirming say ‘weren’t confident in choice’) - but say feedback has no impact
