2. DNA unzips and section is exposed, copied by mRNA, called transcription
3. Ribosomes and rRNA produced in nucleolus in nucleus, attach to RER
4. mRNA moves from nucleus through nuclear pore to RER and attaches to ribosome, mRNA then translated and protein is synthesised and transported through RER

6. Protein modified, packaged and transported through Golgi, membrane pinched off to at trans face form secretly vesiscle containing protein
7. Secretory vesicle transported through cytoplasm, fuses with cell membane and is secreted in exocytosis.
