Who is a Nabi?
A prophet, who can only be a ma’soom human and has scriptures revealed to him.
What is Wahi (revelation) ?
Wahi means to send a message. Its shari meaning is speech which is revealed to the prophets by Allah.
What is the difference between a prophet and a normal human being.
Prophets are sinless. Prophets are raised by Alllah. Prophets have the best characters. Prophets are granted utmost intelligence. Allah has kept them away from hated speech.
Who are those who say that the Final Prophet is ordinary like us?
They are misguided disbelievers. It is said so in the Quran.
Do the prophets have knowledge of the unseen?
Yes, given to them by Allah about the angles, day of judgement, and paradise and hell.
Can a person become a prophet through worship?
No, one cannot become a prophet through worship. A prophet can only be if it was written for him. Muhammad is the seal of the prophets. Those who do not believe this are apostates.
How is it to not respect a prophet?
To respect them is fard and to degrade them is kufr. A person cannot be a mu’min if he does not accept all the prophets.
What is the status of prophets in the court of Allah?
Their status is great. Wahi descends upon them and they are granted many mu’jizat.
Who is a Rasool?
From the prophets, the one who brings a new sharia is a Rasool.
Can we call the prophets dead?
No we cannot, the night of mi’raj is proof. Their souls were taken away for a moment and put back again.
Are all prophets equal?
No, they are equal only in prophet hood but they have different ranks. Muhammad has the highest rank.
Why is Muhammad’s rank the greatest among the prophets?
He is the leader of all creations. He was the first to recite tawheed to Allah.
Who is the final prophet?
Muhammad is khatamun nabiyeen.
What is the path to reach Allah?
Through the prophets and following their teachings.
Can Jin’s and angels be prophets too?
No, prophets can only be human and male but angels can be rasools.
