Who is Auliyah?
The chosen people of Allah who are obedient to Him and refrain from sins. Allah grants such people close friendship to Him through His Majesty.
How can one attain wilayat?
They are chosen and accepted by Allah. Some can attain this through worship, and some are bestowed this from the beginning.
Can an illiterate person also become a wali?
No, to become a wali knowledge is necessary, weather it is sought or given to them.
If one does not act in accordance to sharia, can he become a wali?
As long as a person is sane, they must follow sharia so no, he cannot.
What can the Auliyah do?
They can perform karamats such as walking on water, talking to lifeless things, and travelling distances in seconds. The karamat of the Auliyah are the mu’jizat of the prophets, depending on which nation they are from.
Is a wali the only one who can perform a karamat?
Most Auliyah can perform karamat but they only make them apparent if Allah orders them to do so.
Can a karamat be apparent after their demise?
Yes

What do we get from the Auliyah?
By loving them, Allah fulfils your needs. We can take guidance from their lives and gain blessings from their duas and from visiting their shrines.
Can a Muslim receive benefits from his good deeds after his demise?
Yes, from his sadqah, recitation, and dua. Fatiha and Gyarnwee have been used by Muslims. The ones who denies these is misguided.
