What are the advantages of Gantt charts
- used to show project time frame shyest epically display order in which task should be completed

What sis a Gantt chart
Chart used for showing all activities that are included in a particular project:
Start and end date of each activity included in overall project
Dependency between different activities
View current data and show completition stays of project at that date
What are the disadvantages of Gantt charts
- each bar indicates time allocated to complete task rather than amount of work involved
- becomes cluttered and difficult to understand where many dependencies between r various tasks are shown
Large or complex projects cannot be displayed on a computer screen or on one paper
What planning activities does project planning software provide
- generating a list of task for the project
- dividing tasks into sub tasks
- setting up start to end date for each task
- linking together tasks that a are dependant on one another
What progress activities does it provide
- team members enter their overall progress and time consumed on those task into software
