Why is integration mgmt a key skill?
it represents all knowledge areas and processes groups
What is unique about integration processes?
they are present in each process group, and all other processes in that process group must happen prior to the integration’s processes to happen.
What is PMBOK’s definition of integration mgmt?
Includes the processes and activities needed to identify, define, combine, unify and coordinate the various processes and project management activities within the PM Process Groups.
what is a project charter?
The process of developing a document to formally AUTHORIZE a project or a phase
High level budget, schedule, requirements, etc

what are the non-common inputs, tools, and outputs for project charter?
Input = Business docs, Agreements
Tools = nothing
Outputs = Project Charter, Assumption Log

Business Case - stats, ROI, legality… is it worth the investment?
Project Benefits Management Plan - outlines the goals and benefits, and how to measure
what are business documents for?
they have info relating to whether or not a project should be initiated
what is the assumption log?
it’s a list of things you perceive to be true, that gets referenced throughout the project
what is the PM PLan?
comprehensive document that outlines the basis of all project work
How the work will be done
how the work will be monitored (baselines)
