• Disconnect from ground service bus
• First 4 common items - ALWAYS wait for EICAS to stop scrolling
• If fully powered (DUs-on,“IN USE”, BATTs-ON) - move on to interior inspection
  
  • do not accomplish Elec Pwr On ✔️
• If partially powered (DUs-on, Ext pwr-”IN USE”, BATTs 1+2-OFF) - move on to interior inspection
  
  • do not accomplish Elec Pwr On ✔️
• If aircraft not powered, accomplish accomplish Elec Pwr On ✔️
  
  • accomplish interior inspection items during EICAS scrolling

Electrical Power On ✔️

• L CTP →CHKL; PROC >SUPP PROC >Elect pwr on ✔️
  
  • If ext pwr “AVAIL”, “IN USE” / if not avail, start APU
    
    • Accomplish exterior inspection while IRS system aligns
    • check CMS water and waste
  • complete Elect pwr on ✔️

***Interior Inspection

Begin by opening the ECL - DON’T JUMP AHEAD!

• R CTP → CHKL >PROC >SUPP PROC> Interior Inspection
• Flight deck security search
• Emergency equipment
• Req’d docs, jump seat, pins, EFB mount, vests, screens, hatch, rope, luggage, paper
• EICAS and info (including Synoptic pages)
  
  • EICAS: check msgs, quantities (oil, hydraulic, fuel, oxygen), green rudder trim
  • Status pg: oil, tire px - green, brake temp - green, no amber wear indicators
  • Cycle through SYN pgs, check for abnormals
    
    • this is NOT time to perform ICE DETECT test on AVIONICS tile
  • INFO msgs - acknowledge, CBs (notify Mx of any irregularities)
