Manual Engine abort conditions

A
  • no positive oil pressure within 10s of N2
  • No N1 by starter cutout (50% N2)
  • No ITT within 1 min after fuel applied
  • ITT exceeds start limit
  • oil pressure stabilized below limits
  • N1/N2 fail to accelerate to stable idle speed
  • intermittent pneumatic or starter malfunction

Windshear detection

A

Enabled from 10’ to 1500’

  • Manually when a windshear Caution or Warning is detected and the pilot presses the TO/GA Button;
  • When a windshear Warning is detected and Thrust Levers are set to TO/GA position or beyond;
  • Automatically when the AFCS flight director mode is in Takeoffor Go-Around mode and a windshear Warning is detected

Thrust Reverser Guidelines

  • Min Rev at 60 knts
  • Reversers stowed by 30 knts
  • MAX Rev on contaminated runways
  • Reversers may be used until aircraft stopped during RTO or emergency
