Pushback Checklist/Flow
Trigger: All exterior doors closed and
cabin ready for pushback
“Pumps, pumps, doors, doors”
Main Fuel pumps - ON
Center Fuel Pumps - ON, if Center tank
more than 1000 (700s, 900s, 2 800s) or
5000 (most 800s)
Elec Hyd Pumps - ON
Exterior Doors - Closed
Flight Deck Door - Closed
Run Pushback Checklist when asked for by Captain
Engine Start
Trigger: When cleared and ready to start
PACKs - OFF
ENGINE START Switch - GRD
At max motoring, Start Lever - IDLE
Verify fuel flow and EGT indications
After ENGINE START Switches move to OFF at 56% N2,
Verify START VALVE OPEN alert is removed, and
Announce “Starter Cutout”
After Start Procedure
Trigger: After Starting Engine(s)
Backwards “C”
GENs - ON PROBE HEAT - ON ANTI-ICE - as required A/C Panel - based on taxi configuration Autobrakes - RTO Recall - Checked
Taxi Procedure
Trigger: After WDR has been received
Verify WDR is input into FMS TAKEOFF REF pages 1 & 2 FMS PERF INIT MCP - set V2 Stab Trim - set
When workload and conditions permit:
Aileron and elevator - Check
Read TAXI CHECKLIST when called by Captain
