Recall the location of the DOME WHITE switch.

Explain the function of the EMER EXIT LIGHTS switch.

ARMED
ON
OFF- Prevents emergency lights system operation if airplane electrical power fails or is turned off.
ARMED - (guarded position) All emergency lights illuminate automatically if:
- Airplane electrical power fails or
- AC Power is turned off.
ON- All emergency lights illuminate.
Recall the emergency lights can be activated from the flight attendant panel regardless of flight deck switch position.
The emergency exit lights may be illuminated by a switch on the aft attendant’s panel. Lifting the guard and pushing the switch ON overrides the flight deck control and illuminates the emergency exit lights.
Recall the number and location of all emergency exits.
The airplane has two passenger entry doors, and two service doors (Passenger entry doors on the left, Cabin Service doors on the right).
In the flight deck, the number two windows, one on the left and one on the right, can be opened by the flight crew on the ground or in flight and can be used for emergency evacuation. Only the first officer’s number two window can be opened from outside the airplane.
Four overwing emergency exits are located in the passenger cabin.
There are 10 ways out and 9 ways in.
Locate the flight deck indications for open ENTRY, SERVICE, EQUIP, OVERWING and CARGO doors.
FWD ENTRY, FWD SERVICE, AFT ENTRY, AFT SERVICE, EQUIP, LEFT FWD OVERWING, RIGHT FWD OVERWING, LEFT AFT OVERWING, RIGHT AFT OVERWING, FWD CARGO, AFT CARGO lights are located on the Forward Overhead Panel
Illumination of these doors lights will trigger the DOORS annunciator and the MASTER CAUTION light.
Recall the recommended pavement width for a 180° turn.
Minimum width of pavement for 180° turn: 79 Feet.
Recall the function of the overwing exit flight lock system. (During a normal takeoff and landing)
The flight lock system is designed to ensure that the flight locks will automatically lock during takeoff, in-flight, and landing and unlock on the ground to allow for opening of the over wing exit doors in emergency situations.
Recall the type and quantity of emergency equipment located on the flight deck.

Recall the location of the Passenger Oxygen system controls and indicators.

Describe the function of the PASS OXYGEN switch.
NORMAL
ON
NORMAL – (guarded position) passenger masks drop and passenger oxygen system activated automatically if cabin altitude climbs to 14,000 feet.
ON – activates system and drops masks.
Recall the lights associated with an actived Pax O2 system.
When the system is activated, PASS OXY ON light illuminates and the OVERHEAD annunciation illuminates on the Master Caution System.
Note: Activating the system causes the masks to drop from the stowage compartments. The oxygen generators are activated when any mask in the unit is pulled down. Pulling one mask down causes all masks in that unit to come down and 100% oxygen flows to all masks. Oxygen flows for approximately 12 minutes and cannot be shut off.
