PRN in cardiovascular disorders Flashcards
aims of PRN in cardiology (2)
early gradual mobilization
restoring the work capacity by using training to resotre the coronary reserve
3 phases of PRN in cardiology
1) hospitalization
2) early recovery
3) late recovery
seven stages of hospitalization in PRN cardio
stage 1: small joint movement, breathing excercises. semi seated position and bed turning of patient
stage 2: bed sitting
stage 3: seated position excercises
stage 4: diaphragmatic breathing excercises. walking around bed
stage5: standing excercises and walking for 100m
stage6: seated trunk excercises. standing limb excercises. stair walking
stage7: walking 500m/day. 2 floors of stairs? pulse=20beats/min. RR=20
the real capacity of the patient determines the excercises in what phase
early recovery stage
what does the EARLY recovery stage consist of
3
Kinesiotherapy; HR around 120 beats / minimum
RR - 50 mm ???
Velotraining- time interval stresses - 15 min
Treadmill, or field treatment - 30-40 minutes
what does the LATER recovery stage consist of (4)
Velotest - 2 m. ??
Kinesiotherapy - gymnastic exercises
Breathing exercises
Field treatment
Maintenance phase
consists of
Kinesiotherapy - 45-60 min - aerobic type exercises
Bicycle workout (velotraining) with 60-80% of max. capacity
Field treatment to 5 km
Hiking
Swimming and elements of sports
what are the benefits of a kinesiotherapeutical workout
increases aerobic capacity and limits the border of myocardial ischaemia if done for 6 MONTHS
