What is the purpose of a Rosary (how does it help with worship)?
It involves running ones hand through a set of beads
There are different points on a rosary that remind a Christian to say certain prayer ( the Lord’s Prayer, the Hail Mary)
It serves as a physical reminder to pray
What is Meditation?
Thoughtfulness, focused on a religious truth.
How does religious meditation work?
Christians will use a stimulus like a candle (focusing on Christ the light of the World) or a statue of Jesus
They may read a passage from the Bible (reflect on its message)
Why are ALL forms of worship important for Christians? Give 5:
Makes them feel closer to God
Brings a sense of togetherness with the community
It is an external expression of faith
