Q
  1. Building resilience: humanitarian assistance, disaster risk reduction, and social protection.
A

When a country cannot respond to a disaster on their own, Australia steps in and provides emergency aid to help alleviate suffering and save lives. Australia also does this by grouping with governments to establish tools for the best quality risk reduction management organisation.
DFAT has also recently advanced to social protection systems, which include programs and initiatives to promote human development and health and wellbeing.

By having greater resilience strategies, nations can respond to emergency disasters more quickly, which can encourage economic growth.

By prioritising aid for education, Australia’s aid program can focus on providing quality skills and knowledge to create opportunities for low- and middle-income countries.

By prioritising aid for health, Australia’s focus on providing aid to healthcare systems is accelerated, thus helping promote more healthier and fulfilling lives.
